Q "I can’t login”
If you forget your password there is a ‘Lost password?’ link on the homepage which will send an email to your registered email address. If you don’t receive this email or if you forget your username, please email cipp@howcollege.ac.uk
Q “What computer do I need to use the CIPP Student Website?”
You will be able to access the website on any computer with Internet access. You will also be able to view the website on many mobile devices such as smart phones or ipads.
We recommend using the following browsers: The latest Internet Explorer (or Edge), Google Chrome, or Firefox.
(If you are using Windows XP or Vista you are not able to upgrade to Internet Explorer 10. In this instance we recommend downloading the free Google Chrome browser).
Q "Why can't I open a file?"
Most of the files on the CIPP Student Website are in PDF format. It is more than likely you will be able to open these files but if you can’t, or you would like to make sure you have the most up to date version of Adobe Reader, please click on the link below and follow the onscreen instructions:

If when you try and open a PDF file it just opens up a blank page or you receive an error message saying the file is corrupted or damaged, it usually means you have an old version of Acrobat Reader on your machine. Please click on the link above to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

Q "Why can't I open Word or PowerPoint files?"
It is likely that you will have access to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. If you don't, there are free 'viewers' that you can download that will allow you to view files in these formats.
If you don't have or don't want to buy Microsoft Office there is an alternative free product called 'Open Office' that you might want to consider http://openoffice.org-suite.com/
Q "I need more help, who can I ask?"
